Dr. Vissett S. Sun

Dr. Vissett Sun is a Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. He is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. He specializes in contact lenses and laser vision correction. Dr. Sun is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of the University of Houston College of Optometry. Dr. Sun is a clinical investigator for several contact lens manufacturers and has helped to develop advanced contact lens designs. He has given lectures for continuing education on contact lens and laser vision correction. He is an active member of the Space Center Rotary Club and is past president of the Harris County Optometric Society. He is also an active member of the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Sun is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. The Texas Optometric Association has recognized Dr. Sun as the 2005 Young Optometrist of the Year. Recently, he made his first hole in one on St Patrick’s Day 2013.
